A Course Hero alternative for learning, not just finding answers
Course Hero offers shared documents, homework help and tutor Q&A. Type to Study does not find answers for you. It helps you learn your own course material well enough to answer on your own, including in an exam.
What's different
Seeing a worked answer can feel like learning, but recall research suggests that retrieving information yourself is what makes it stick (Roediger and Karpicke, 2006). Type to Study is built around that: you type lessons, recall key terms and answer exam-style questions.
The model answer is shown after you try, so you still see what a good response looks like.
When Course Hero is the better fit
If you need a tutor to answer a specific question, or want access to a large pool of shared course documents from other schools, Course Hero offers that. Type to Study has no human tutors and no document sharing.
