TypingClub alternative: practise typing on your study material
TypingClub is a structured touch-typing course used by many schools, with lessons that build from the home row upward. Its core program is free for individuals and schools. Type to Study assumes you can already type and puts that skill to work on what you are studying.
What's different
TypingClub teaches the skill. Type to Study applies it: you type lessons built from your course book or topic, see your speed and accuracy, then hide the key terms and recall them.
This suits students who sit computer-based exams or write long answers on a keyboard, because practice and revision happen in the same session.
When TypingClub is the better fit
If you or a child are learning to touch type from the beginning, TypingClub's guided lessons and free core program are the right place to start. Type to Study does not teach finger placement.
