An AI study tool for high school students
Most school revision is rereading and highlighting, which feels good and works badly. Type to Study replaces it with recall: you type what you studied, get quizzed, and see which topics are weak before the exam does.
Turn your textbook or notes into a course
Upload a photo-scanned or digital chapter as PDF, a Word file or text, or type a topic such as photosynthesis or the causes of the First World War. You get lessons with key terms and a diagram, then flashcards and quizzes made for you.
Practise like the exam
Unit quizzes mix multiple choice with typed answers checked against key points. The final exam is made fresh each time, with an optional timer, a percentage, a grade and feedback on each answer, and a list of units to revise. It is practice, not a prediction of your result.
For SAT, ACT, AP, GCSE, A-levels, IB, WAEC and JAMB, see our exam pages for how the app fits each one. Type to Study does not include official past papers.
A routine that works
Study a lesson in read mode, then in type mode, then do the recall pass. Review flashcards for ten minutes a day, because spaced reviews beat one long cram session (Cepeda et al., 2006). Our blog explains the method in detail.
